What is the difference between a floorcloth and a table protector?
None!
Hand-crafted painted canvas floorcloths are a fashionable alternative for area rugs, a way to add color and design for your living space in your home or office. OR you can use them on your table -- just like the traditional oil cloths our grandmothers used. You can hang them on the wall too - they are so beautiful! A splash of fine art that pampers the impulse to make your world more you.
I offer a variety of floorcloths and tableprotectors in styles that range from contemporary to antique patterns to whimsical motifs and abstract designs. As each piece is a hand painted original, you may request a color change on an existing design or I can custom design an order for you, based on your personal specifications.
My floorcloths and table protectors are hand painted on canvas. The canvas is gessoed on both sides, painted, then coated at least 5 times with polyurethane. They are hypoallergenic, extremely durable and water and stain resistant. All the elements that go into their construction are selected with emphasis on flexibility and durability.
Below are some of the floorcloths I have created. Some are sold. Those that are not, have the price listed undeneath. I will make one to YOUR specifications - using the colors that suit your decor. Costs range from $25/sq.ft. and up depending on the intricacies of the design.
